The BSA Troop 57 of Whidbey Island is hosting their INAUGURAL 5K Walk/Run 4 Good Health event to fundraise for much needed safety equipment, new troop supplies, camps and activity fees.
About the Local Walk/Run
The Local 5k 4 Good Health is a local 3.1 mile trail walk/run held on May 4, 2014 at Community Park in Langley WA! To celebrate the change in weather, the troop is promoting good health by encouraging all our families, friends and neighbors to head outdoors and go for a walk (or run) together. This is a great chance to involve the entire family and get everyone interested in a healthier lifestyle while supporting a good cause!! Finisher medals will be awarded to all registered participants.
ALL WALKERS and runners are welcome! No need for speed! Invite your dad, mom, brothers and sisters, gather up your kids and their classmates, your cousins, co-workers, running groups, high school friends, teachers and neighbors… Connect with someone and make a commitment to participate together. Or do it on your own. Just get out there and do it!
Registration Fee
The registration fee of $25 includes a 5K bib and a beautiful wood carved race medal.
