The BSA Troop 57 of Whidbey Island is hosting their INAUGURAL 5K Walk/Run 4 Good Health event to fundraise for much needed safety equipment, new troop supplies, camps and activity fees.
About the Virtual Walk/Run
Troop 57 is hosting a local 5K 4 Good Health BUT getting fit and taking advantage of the great outdoors isn’t for Whidbey Island alone. So Troop 57 is hosting a Virtual 5K 4 Good Health for all our friends and family around the country so they can get out and join us in solidarity for this special event. Let’s celebrate the change of weather, the fresh air and the anticipation of Good Health by hitting the trails, the neighborhood streets and the community parks in your area!! All registered participants are asked to complete the 5K walk/run in their own neighborhoods on May 4 or within a week of May 4. All registered participants will receive a printable 5k bib for photo opportunities and a Finisher Medal. Medals will be mailed 1.5 weeks after the May 4 event. We invite all our virtual runners to take a photo and post them with your results/story on Facebook page: BSA Troop 57 South Whidbey Island.
Registration Fee
The registration fee of $25 includes a 5K bib and a beautiful wood carved race medal.
